A focused tool, built by someone who trains.

Pocket Workout Planner was built for one job: helping a person plan a workout, run it cleanly, and look back on it later. It’s not a social network. It’s not a coach. It’s not trying to gamify your training. It’s the smallest possible tool that does the job well.

Most workout apps assume you want to share, compete, or be coached. Most lifters and hybrid athletes don’t — they want a place to compose a routine, a timer that runs the set, and a chart that tells the truth about what changed. That’s the whole brief.

Everything in the app respects that brief. Data lives on your iPhone (Apple SwiftData), not in the cloud. There is no account. There are no notifications begging you to come back. The Apple Watch companion exists so the timer is on your wrist during the set — not so the app can collect your heart-rate data.

Built in Riga

Pocket Workout Planner is independently built and maintained by Maksims Pelna in Riga, Latvia. The app is iPhone-only today, with an Apple Watch companion. iPad support and additional languages are on the roadmap.
